Cincinnati Mayor John Cranley welcomed Jack yesterday with a Key to the City at the King Records building. Mr. White was in Cincinnati headlining the third day of the Bunbury Music Festival. Joined by King Records legends Otis Williams, Philip Paul, and Bootsy Collins, Mayor Cranley recognized Jack for performing at the festival and for his efforts to honor the King Records legacy and to preserve music in general.

“Jack White has been an unfailing supporter of King Records,” said Mayor John Cranley. “Jack has actually covered Little Willie John’s song, I’m Shakin’, which on the original recording our own Philip Paul played the drums, and he recently wore a King Records shirt in a cover story for Q magazine.”

Jack White – “Over and Over and Over” // Live at the Garage in London // 03.28.2018

This March, in celebration of the impending release of Boarding House Reach, Jack visited London to give UK fans their first glimpse of his electrifying new live show and his powerful new touring outfit. First up was a free, outdoor show at the historic George Inn in London Bridge. Announced just hours beforehand, the impromptu gig saw hundreds of fans crammed into the courtyard of London’s only still-standing galleried coaching inn, with many times more queuing around the block to get a glimpse of the action (watch a round up of the event HERE). Later that evening, White played an intimate evening show at London’s 500 capacity The Garage, showcasing tracks off the new album as well as delving into his substantial back catalogue in front of a fervent audience. With tickets selling out in a matter of minutes, it was a rare chance for fans to see White perform so up-close, with The Guardian declaring “that his passion remains undimmed, his eccentric vision still so ornery and unpredictable, is a very fine thing indeed.”

For those not lucky enough to attend the legendary Garage show, here’s a chance to witness some of the magic that unfolded that night. Watch ‘”Over and Over and Over” // Live at The Garage in London // 28.03.2018’ below:
