JACK PERFORMS ON A PRAIRIE HOME COMPANION WITH CHRIS THILE PREMIERE EPISODE

Last night, Jack took to the stage at The Fitzgerald Theater in St. Paul, MN for a special four song acoustic performance on the season premiere of A Prairie Home Companion hosted by Chris Thile in support of his career-spanning acoustic album. Backed by Lillie Mae Rische, Dominic Davis, and Fats Kaplin, Jack performed “City Lights,” “Carolina Drama,” “(Margie’s At) The Lincoln Park Inn,” and was joined by very special guest Margo Price for a rendition of The White Stripes’ “I’m Lonely (But I Ain’t That Lonely Yet).” Watch highlights from the show below, including Jack’s first performance together with Margo, and listen to a full audio archive of the episode at prairiehome.org.

Recently released for the first time ever as part of Jack White Acoustic Recordings 1998 – 2016, Jack’s “Love is the Truth (Acoustic Mix)” and The White Stripes’ “City Lights” will be paired together as a double A-side 7” on blue and red splatter vinyl for Third Man Records Vault Package #30.
