JACK TO RELEASE CAREER-SPANNING ACOUSTIC COMPILATION SEPTEMBER 9TH

Jack has announced the release of JACK WHITE ACOUSTIC RECORDINGS 1998 – 2016, a 26 track double LP and double CD featuring remastered alternate versions, mixes, and previously unreleased recordings from The White Stripes, The Raconteurs, and Jack’s solo catalog. This essential Jack White songwriting collection will be released September 9th and is available to pre-order physically, on CD/LP, as well as digitally now.

Jack has also unveiled the previously unreleased and unheard White Stripes song “City Lights,” which can be streamed via VEVO below. “City Lights” was originally written for Get Behind me Satan, but forgotten until Jack recently revisited the album for Third Man Record’s Record Store Day 2015 vinyl reissue. The recording was finished in 2016. The song is the first new, worldwide commercially released White Stripes song since 2008. “City Lights” will be available as an instant download will all digital pre-orders starting Friday, August 12th.
